Ferrari did it again in Turkey today! The team successfully put their drivers started on the front row of the grid for tomorrow race, but this time is unusual with Felipe Massa first, 1:27.306, ahead of Michael Schumacher on second, 1:27.385, thanks to Michael Schumacher’s own mistakes.
Obviously Felipe Massa was more than delighted to have his first ever pole position of his racing career. So congratulation to Felipe Massa for the job done!
Title rival Renault is right behind with Fernando Alonso on third, 1:27.321, and team mate Giancarlo Fisichella on fourth, 1:27.564.
It is interesting to see how a seasoned Michael Schumacher has made mistakes, twice gone wide at turn 1. Is it a sign of him under pressure on title chase? Or is it just a sign of him driving his car beyond its limit? An interesting open question, as interesting as to see his blistering speed on Q2 when he posted 1:25.850, slightly faster than last year fastest time made by Kimi Raikkonen.
Well, considering the current situation where Renault is 7 points ahead of Ferrari in the Constructor Championship and Fernando Alonso is 10 points ahead of Michael Schumacher in the Driver Championship and with the two title contenders started back-to-back for the race tomorrow and with both Ferraris ahead of both Renaults and with both Renault drivers usually made brilliant starts on the grid it is interesting to see what will happened in Turn 1 tomorrow so don’t miss it!!! ( Sorry, I can’t stop ^_^ )
